Pixie Carnation

Okay, so I will admit it: I am still working my way through The Dandy Warhols last two albums: ...Earth to the Dandy Warhols...(2008) and The Dandy Warhols are Sound. I feel like I need to listen to it a bit more, perhaps over the weekend.

I got a very lazy tip today when my friend Julie wrote me a note today and told me that I should check out the movie Dig!, which documents The Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, their rival band. I will somehow have to get a hold of that movie over the weekend. All things seem possible with the Internet, so hopefully it won't be too tough.

One more lead to follow after listening to John in the Morning yesterday. I added the band Pixie Carnation. I really like their sound and well, they are Swedish, and I have a thing for all things Swedish. So, I will definitely check them out over the weekend.

One thing is clear to me now. I do not have time to pursue everything I want. I wish I knew someone who would be willing to contribute to the blog from time to time...
